Grades: At the end of each course week, every instructor will assign a grade on a scale of 30. Each instructor is free to determine the assessment method. All assessments must take place during course hours.
Stage: Stages are offered based on agreements between Sapienza University and the host institutions. The university will work closely with the host organizations and students to find the best solution for both parties.
Thesis: The Master’s program requires the completion of a thesis (final project) at the end of the study program, which can also be carried out at the stage host institution.
The thesis must have an internal supervisor, namely the Master’s Director, and an external supervisor if it is carried out outside Sapienza University. In all cases, the internal supervisor must approve in advance: i) the host institution, ii) the thesis topic,
and, before the defense, iii) the final written thesis.
Attendance: Classes are held in blended mode, prioritizing in-person attendance as required by the university, unless new health emergencies arise, in which case Sapienza’s guidelines will apply. As a general rule, students who miss more than 25% of the total course hours will not be allowed to take the final exam or obtain the degree.
Final Grade: The final grade is based on all activities completed during the academic year.
