If specified in the call for applications for the relevant academic year, the admission test includes a topic and/or materials on a current issue in the life sciences.
Candidates are asked to develop the topic in the form of a news article, an essay, or a short story.
In the first case, the task is to report the news accurately, with a journalistic approach and particular attention to the chosen audience. In the essay format, the topic should be developed within a framework of reflections—original or elaborated from other sources. The short story option allows space for creative writing.
